First-time buyers scheme launched

Ayr MSP Siobhian Brown has described a new Scottish Government fund aimed at helping people buy their first home as a “game changer” for the area.
The support is expected to benefit first-time buyers across Ayr, Prestwick and Troon as they try to get onto the property ladder.
The announcement has been welcomed locally as part of wider efforts to make home ownership more achievable for people across South Ayrshire.
