Irvine shop marks 10-year milestone

The charity shop at Woodland View in Irvine has marked its 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of supporting patients and families at the mental health hospital.

The shop, run by around 30 volunteers, provides everyday essentials and small comforts to those staying at the facility.

Since opening in 2016, the initiative has raised approximately £94,000 for the Woodland View fund to provide equipment, patient care items and welcome packs for those admitted at short notice.
