Kirkmichael Gala cancelled ahead of May 23 event

Organisers of the Kirkmichael Gala have confirmed that the popular South Ayrshire event will no longer take place this year.
The gala had been scheduled for Saturday, May 23, but has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond organisers’ control. The announcement has come as a disappointment to the local community, where the annual event is a well-established fixture.
