North Ayrshire Council confirms £8.3m roads programme

North Ayrshire Council has approved a major investment in roads and infrastructure across the region. The £8.3 million programme will be delivered over the next 12 months.

A significant portion of the funding will be spent on carriageway resurfacing, with major works planned in Irvine, as well as investment in areas including Stevenston and Kilbirnie. Additional funding will support footway improvements, structures and street lighting upgrades across North Ayrshire.
