University showcase celebrates 25 years of music

The University of the West of Scotland is bringing its annual Arts and Media Showcase to Ayr as part of a wider programme celebrating creative talent across the west of Scotland.

This year’s showcase marks the 25th anniversary of UWS’s BA Commercial Music programme which started on Friday May 8 and runs until Thursday May 21.

Events are taking place across Ayr, Glasgow and Paisley, featuring live performances, exhibitions, student broadcasts and film screenings.

At the Ayr campus, a performance showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13 from 4pm until 8pm, while an MA Filmmaking screening will take place earlier that day.
